Dentistry

How much might I save by going abroad?

So you’ve packed your suitcase, you’ve consulted with your regular dentist and you’ve decided that, rather than have treatments in Manchester your going to fly out to Madrid to have your dental implants fitted as well. So, you must have decided the savings you were going to make were worth it? Well, on the whole you would probably be right but remember, the most important thing is to do to weigh up the cheapness of the procedure against the quality of the doctor who will be performing the operation; just because you are paying a bit less for your dental implants doesn’t mean they should be any less properly fitted! Proper dental implants in this country, depending on the size of the procedure, can cost anything from £1000-£2000; if you take to the skies and land yourself in Eastern Europe then you could be paying as little as £550 in Poland or £320 in Hungary! This is clearly a lot of money to save but consider the quality of the healthcare systems in these countries as well before making your decision. Saving money now is great but you could have to pay more later down the line.
